Tim Allen Breaks Silence with Major Announcement About His Cancelled TV Show — Fans are ELATED!

With news of Roseanne Barr returning to television sets across the country for a Roseanne reboot, another conservative celebrity has made waves by saying that he was ready for a reboot of his own. Comedian Tim Allen made the announcement this week, telling reporters that he was looking forward to the return of his hit show Last Man Standing, giving rise to rumors that it might be reappearing in the ABC lineup soon.

“The support from all the fans to bring back Last Man Standing is truly overwhelming to me and so appreciated,” Mr. Allen said during an appearance on Fox News. “I, along with the talented writers, wonderful crew and terrific actors would definitely entertain the idea of bringing the show back as there is so much gas left in the tank, more to be said, and laughs to be had.

“I know fans would love nothing more than for us to take the cover off, fire up the engine, back this car out of the garage and get it back on the highway, full-throttle, the funnyman went on. “My sentiment sits in the front seat beside you.”

Despite its high ratings and overall positive response from viewers, ABC abruptly canceled the hit comedy leaving Tim Allen “stunned and blindsided” by the decision. The network told audiences that the choice to pull the program from their lineup had nothing to do with politics, but many still think that the depiction of a likable conservative character on television was simply too much for many in Hollywood to bear.

“There is nothing more dangerous, especially in this climate, than a funny, likable conservative character,” Allen said during an interview last year, saying that the character he portrayed, Mike Baxter, was a “likable guy and a principled guy about work and ethics and all this stuff.” There was some hope that the hit would be brought back to life on CMT, which still shows reruns from time to time, but those plans fell through. Now, however, Allen hopes that he might finally be getting a second chance with Last Man Standing, and fans across the country can’t wait to see if ABC decides to really bring back a favorite for millions of hardworking Americans who are sick of seeing yet another leftist show, crammed full of liberal actors shoving propaganda down our throats at every turn.
