Rep. Trey Gowdy has about had it with the FBI and their criminal negligence with regard to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has recently set his sights on Peter Strzok, the lead investigator for the FBI’s 2016 probe into Clinton’s use of a private email server.
“The Bureau has had a really bad last 18 months,” Gowdy wrote. “This makes it worse.”

Check it out, per The Hill:
Gowdy, the chairman of the powerful House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, was responding to a report from CNN that the FBI agent removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation was the same agent who changed a key phrase in former FBI Director James Comey’s speech declaring Hillary Clinton wouldn’t face charges.
According to the CNN report, Peter Strzok, who led the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while at the State Department, changed the description of Hillary Clinton’s actions from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless” in Comey’s 2016 speech.
Strzok was removed from Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia over the summer after it was revealed in an internal investigation that he had sent text messages that could be interpreted as showing support for Hillary Clinton over President Trump. The messages were sent to Lisa Page, another member of Mueller’s team.
Rep. Gowdy is determined to discover what the text messages in question actually said. Do they show evidence of collusion between the FBI and Clinton’s campaign? Is there more here than meets the eye?
“People have the right to assume that people who are investigating them are objective and have not already made up their minds,” Gowdy said.
President Trump took to his Twitter account to address the situation as well:
Report: “ANTI-TRUMP FBI AGENT LED CLINTON EMAIL PROBE” Now it all starts to make sense!

Under Gowdy, the Oversight Committee launched an investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state this October.
What do you think of the way Representative Gowdy is holding these politically-motivated agents accountable?
