FBI Director Christopher Wray PLEADS FIFTH on Capitol Hill — And Guess Who He’s Protecting?

FBI Director Christopher Wray is in some major hot water over his role in the 2016 Russia-collusion probe. Over the weekend, major media outlets reported that FBI agent Peter Strzok had sent anti-Trump text messages to a woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair.

Peter Strzok made a name for himself as a lead investigator in former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email investigation. He reportedly interviewed two top Clinton aides and was later behind the change of language Comey used to describe her behavior — changing the wording from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless.” Strzok was also involved in the interview of Michael Flynn, who was subsequently charged last week for lying to the FBI.

Well, FBI Director Christopher Wray took a serious beating on Capitol Hill Thursday when he was interviewed about all this.

During a tense line of questioning in a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan pressed Wray to release the FBI’s application for a secret surveillance warrant on a Trump campaign adviser.

Jordan said that he had a strong hunch that Strzok was the agent who handled the Trump dossier and used it as part of the evidence for warrants submitted last year to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

Check out the tense exchange, per Daily Caller:

Jordan questioned why Strzok would be removed from the Mueller investigation considering that at least nine of the prosecutors working on the team have been found to have contributed to Democratic political candidates, including Clinton.

“If you kicked everybody off Mueller’s team who was anti-Trump there wouldn’t be anybody left,” Jordan said to Wray, who took over as FBI director in August.

“There’s got to be something more, and I’m trying to figure out what it is. But my hunch is, it has something to do with the dossier,” continued Jordan, who referred to the dossier as “National Enquirer garbage.”

Wray refused to answer questions about Strzok, the dossier, or the FBI application for the FISC warrant.

“I’m not prepared to discuss anything about a [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] process in this setting,” he said.

And that’s how he ends it… Director of the FBI Christopher Wray just refused to answer the questions posed to him by the House of Representatives! Obviously, he is protecting Hillary Clinton and her cronies Robert Mueller and James Comey. FBI Director Wray knows that Peter Strzok and the money for the dossier lead back to one place: Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

What do you think about Wray’s evasiveness and reluctance to answer Jordan’s questions?
